 TALLER DÍA MUNDIAL DEL AGUA

OBJETIVOS: Reconocer la importancia del agua y usar el vocabulario, frases

 y expresiones del   inglés sugeridas en cada actividad.

I. WORLD WATER DAY 2024

World Water Day is celebrated on March 22 of each year and its main objective is to raise

awareness in man of the importance of taking care of the so-called liquid gold for the life of

human beings and species on Earth.

This day was proclaimed by the UN in 1992. That year the United Nations Conference on

Environment and Development was held in Rio de Janeiro. From there the proposal arose, with

1993 being the first year of celebration.

What is Water? Water is a natural resource composed of hydrogen and oxygen molecules, which is

essential for life. It is a good considered the liquid gold of the planet and makes it possible for all

terrestrial species to continue growing and developing every day.

We have to take care of the water. It is a limited resource, because if one day it was to become

scarce, it would have irreversible consequences for humanity.

DÍA MUNDIAL DEL AGUA 2024

El Día Mundial del Agua se celebra el 22 de marzo de cada año y 

su objetivo principal, es crear

conciencia en el hombre de la importancia de cuidar el llamado oro líquido 

para la vida de los

seres humanos y las especies en la Tierra.

Este día fue proclamado por la ONU en 1992. Ese año se celebró en 

Río de Janeiro la Conferencia

de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Medio Ambiente y el Desarrollo. De allí surgió la

 propuesta, siendo

1993 el primer año de celebración.

¿Qué es el Agua? El agua es un recurso natural compuesto por moléculas de

 hidrógeno y oxígeno,

que es indispensable para la vida. Es un bien considerado como el oro líquido del

 planeta y que

hace posible que todas las especies terrestres continúen creciendo y 

desarrollándose cada día.

Tenemos que cuidar el agua. Es un recurso limitado, porque si algún 

día llegara a escasear, traería

consecuencias irreversibles para la humanidad.

                                  ACTIVITIES

 1- Escribe 5 sustantivos (en singular y plural ) que encuentres en la lectura. Tanto en
